Outstanding product. color finish and texture are OEM factory perfect. Also fitment is better than my factory console was. and does not have the gap in the upper right side corner then factory one did. I must say the extra wait was well worth especially since this piece retains the ashtray and cup holder doors. The extra cost is well worth it if you are looking for quality and as close to OEM as you can get. This is a much better product then you will find on Amazon or other sites. You get what you pay for!

I have a 2003 50th Anniv. with shale color interior. I purchased the bezel in shale. for $434.00 The customer service was top notch, and the bezel was delivered promptly. My vehicle is in pristine condition and I was hoping that the color match would be close enough that it wouldn't be noticeable. Unfortunately it was noticeable enough that I decided against installing the bezel and the double din. The color was off and while a great attempt was made to duplicate the texture of the original, it didn't make the cut from my perspective. Vettenuts is a great company, and I think they came as close to duplicating the bezel as anyone can come, but I decided to leave it original and forego the installation.

I bought this product from Vettenuts to replace a product I got from another vendor First The finish is more like the factory and has the same configuration as the original, probably the original bezel but modified, but none the less very happy with it. If it were not for the installation of the previous bezel I might have been lost as there was no instruction of what to do in installing the new radio but you can go online to figure it out. the ac control unit can be taken out to modify the dash cage but can and should be reinstalled to its original location. the installation brackets of the new radio need to be modified so that the bezel is easier to install. Can't rush this you need to be patient but, the finished results are beautiful. One drawback, but no fault of the bezel. The dash material can bulge out on the passenger side so the is a little gap, depending on age of the car , and heat buildup in the vehicle. This gap is a lot less then the previous bezel had 3/8" vs. 3/16" in my car with this bezel. I did not need to cut the tabs at the top of the bezel, but I did need to cut about an 1/8 of an inch at the top opening for the radio in the dash. All in all extremely happy with the result. The installation was not difficult, but as I said don't rush it or get frustrated because it's. not falling into place. Allocate about 5 hours if your a novice, Maybe 3 if you are a pro. Your results will be determined by the effort you put in. I am very happy how my install worked out, and a lot of that was because of the quality of the product the Vettenuts provided.

I had mine installed by the guys at Five Star Car Stereo that did the YouTube video about putting a double din in a C5. The installers liked the idea that they did not have to move the HVAC down to get the bezel to fit correctly which saves time. The install was done really quick compared to what I was told to initially expect. Vette Nuts painted it Shale to match my 50th Anniversary convertible and it looks factory! The fit and finish are awesome and it keeps the cover to hide the ashtray (coin box) and lighter (power supply). Both of which will be customized out for other options that the new stereo can accept as add-ons. I couldn’t be happier with the results and customer service I received from Vette Nuts!

I purchased this unit after having 2 others. The 1st was modified by the stereo installer and broke after a few years. The 2nd was from an online Corvette parts dealer and it didn't fit properly- and didn't include the console ashtray door. I just finished installing the unit from Vettenuts and I have to say this is the best fitting replacement I've seen. The alignment of the head unit is everything but once that is set it fit perfectly and there was no filing or trimming required. A great replacement with a factory fit. Thanks again!

Got this installed yesterday and it looks awesome. Finish matches perfect and the fit is perfect. Made my interior look like new again and my double din Pioneer looks like it came that way from the factory :)

This product is a dream come true. The material quality and fit match is so perfect that most people ask if it's a 2010 or so in order to have come with such a modern stereo from chevy. There is a cheaper bezel sold by metra and it is pretty crappy compared to this.
